Php A programming language developed for Web design, but it can also be used as a general language. By January 2013, PHP has installed 244 million web pages and 2.1 million web servers. This language was developed by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995 and is currently under development by the PHP group. Initially, PHP was derived from the Personal Home Page statement.
PHP codes are interpreted by a web server that installs the PHP software on it. The commands of this language can be directly enclosed within HTML tags. PHP version 4.3 has also added the ability to support the command line interface as well. This feature can be used to create non-web-based software or user-interface software.
PHP is a free software released under PHP. This license is not compatible with the GNU General Public License (GPL) because of the restriction on using the PHP title. PHP can be installed on most web servers. It also has the ability to install it as a separate shell on almost all operating systems and platforms. All of these uses are free.
