1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Save Downloads Android application (com.app.savedownloads) or visiting savedownloads.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the application.
2. Permitted Use & Intellectual Property Responsibility
Save Downloads is provided as a general-purpose technical utility for personal, non-commercial media management, format conversion, and offline viewing:
- User Ownership & Rights: You may only download, transcode, or archive media that you own, have express permission from the copyright owner to download, or that is legally published under a Creative Commons or public domain license permitting offline duplication.
- No DRM Circumvention: The application does not contain tools to bypass Digital Rights Management (DRM) protections, decrypt protected widevine media, or compromise unauthorized access controls.
- Prohibited Actions: You agree not to use the application for copyright infringement, commercial distribution of third-party media, or in violation of applicable international intellectual property laws.
3. Local Device Data & Loss of Content Notice
Save Downloads operates entirely on your local Android hardware:
- We do not maintain cloud servers, user accounts, or remote backups of your files.
- All media saved inside the Private Vault is encrypted using device-specific cryptographic keys.
- Uninstall Warning: If you uninstall Save Downloads, clear its app storage, or factory-reset your device, encrypted vault files and application data will be permanently and irrevocably deleted. You are solely responsible for creating independent backups of your personal files.
4. Third-Party Platforms and External Services
Save Downloads may process public URLs pointing to external video hosting platforms (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok). These services are independent third parties and operate under their own terms of service and policies. Save Downloads is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party media platform.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The application and website are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that external platforms will not alter their APIs or delivery protocols.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Save Downloads and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including data loss, hardware damage, or legal claims resulting from your use of the application.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
